how do you use it on steamdeck?
- download modengine arichve to your deck in desktop mode
- unpack it, for example into home\deck\Modengine
- inside Modengine folder find file startModEngine.exe press right mouse button, goto propeties, rights, in owner section change from "allow viewing and change" to "allow viewing only"
- install deckyloader
- install cheatdeck plugin
- go to your game, check settings, you should see "cheatdeck" in menu
- press enable cheat
- in cheat path go to your modengine folder and choose modengine.exe
- go to desktop mode, start your game, modengine should popup, log into your account (in desktop mode I find it faster and easier)
- go to game mode, start your game, and modengine should popup, and you can cheat

edit: I was able to find a different way to open it, with tinkerlauncher but now the mods open but the process for the game is not available, like the game is not really opening. Will keep on trying <3

Hi so in order for the mod to launch with the game I tried the following and it worked:
1. Start game (ModEngine should also start)
2. Game is prevented from starting because ModEngine is loaded in sequential order. To fix exit ModEngine and let the game load.
3. Mod Engine "should" open another instance as the game loads.
4. Now you can find the game process when you click on process. Note: you may have to use the "STEAM" button to go back and select the actual process selection after you first click it (if you click and it looks like nothing happens it just opened up that window as a new navigable app)
5. Lastly- ModEngine is a runtime modifier so you have to be in the game or respective menus for the specific cheats to be activated.

I tried this and the game just loaded but no modengine. Any ideas as to why?

just to confirm, I am launching modengine through Steamtinkerlaunch. The modengine loads but the game does not. If I close modengine then the game runs but modengine does not load back up. Hope that makes sense!
